Christ! What’s the hell is this? Well, I’m thinking The Streets meets Tom Jones, yes you heard. Why do I think that? You probably wouldn’t believe me, but a combination of an English beach resort brass band with a second-rate Mike Skinner trying to rap over the top, actually I’m not even sure that it’s a rap…it’s just bizarre.

Did he just say “rapscallion”? He did! I heard him! I’m on my second listen and now it’s started to annoy me, I think that says a lot about this record. It is annoying, it is a giant slice of cheese, but if nobody will ever try to accuse them of being unoriginal. That is until we come to the b-sides, which are rather shit and unoriginal, I didn’t think it could last.

It’s a novelty record, yes. So you might want to buy it to give yourself a little chortle and impress your friends. Then again I might tell you that Chris Moyles likes it and we’ll leave it at that.
