‘Get Domestic’ - Domestic 4

It’s quite an immediate track; in the sense that it’s likeable at first but the downside is that you’ll most likely tire of it. I suppose this can be said of a number of bands that dabble with the keyboard buttons and throw in some synthesisers here and there, and produce what is usually called ‘electro-pop’. Although Domestic 4 (formerly Formula One) appear very professional and there does seem to be some intelligence behind the music, it often appears misguided and the Domestic 4 really aren’t looking to go anywhere in particular with their songs, this is particularly true of the song ‘Daftwerk’, which apart from a terrible pun is also a terrible mess.

Domestic 4 shan’t offer you anything revolutionary or as sharp and refreshingly delivered as someone like…oooh say Ladytron or Figurine, they can safely nestle themselves somewhere in the middle of the quality ranking when it comes to electronica.
