Energetic 60’s sounding band do
their first E.P., and very good it is too. Yes they sound like a combo of the
Beatles, the Rolling Stones and other great sixties bands, but they have such
energy combined with great songs that keeps it interesting. The tracks ‘Your
Beach Is Mine’, ‘Lustful Eyes’, ‘Intuition’ and ‘Telescope Man’ are all good and
show good song writing and performances from all players. ‘Your Beach Is Mine’
has a great riff that kick starts the song into full 60’s retro rock. The sexy
‘Lustful Eyes’ is brilliant, great lyrics, good instrumentation and a great
vocal performance. And finally ‘Intuition’ and ‘Telescope Man’ are more typical,
but again they are really good performances. A great E.P., and although the
retro theme may go against them it’s still early days yet.
